Talks in Circles (2024) - Ezra and Cecile Zilkha Gallery

I presented five sculptures for my senior thesis exhibition at Wesleyan University. The sculptures tweak the way that ‘hyperpop’ tweaks and the way that ornamentented objects tweak. Hyperpop production and ornament superfluously adorn other works for aesthetic consumption. With these sculptures I attempted to distill certain aspects of tweak. Four of the five sculptures react sonically or kinetically to some electrically-enabled stimulus. The fifth sculpture, Obsessed, contains selfies from my childhood, an Instagram Shoutout from 2013, and my SoundCloud likes.
